The Cooling Agents Division of Baisifu Biological Engineering Co., Ltd. develops and manufactures the WS-series cooling agents trusted by beverage, flavor, fragrance, oral-care and personal-care brands worldwide.
Who We Are
Founded in Xi’an in 2009, Baisifu began as a specialist in plant-derived actives and has spent more than a decade refining its position in synthetic and nature-identical cooling agents. Today our Cooling Agents Division supplies formulators in over 50 countries – from beverage houses and oral-care brands to fragrance, confectionery and pharmaceutical laboratories.
Our entire focus is one problem: how to deliver clean, long-lasting, menthol-grade cooling without menthol’s well-known drawbacks – no burn, no bitterness, no minty overload, and almost no odor to interfere with your flavor architecture. Every WS-series grade we ship is engineered to disappear into the carrier system and leave only the cooling.
From the Xi’an production base we offer the complete WS-series portfolio – eight grades from WS-1 to WS-27 – alongside a curated range of natural mint derivatives: L-menthol crystals, menthyl lactate, menthyl acetate, peppermint oil, dementholized mint oil and natural borneol. Each grade ships with a full Certificate of Analysis, and custom premixes – burst plus longevity combinations – are available for OEM sensation targets.
Quality is built in, not bolted on. An in-house application laboratory, stainless-steel synthesis and blending lines, spray-drying capacity and GMP clean-room packing operate under one roof, with ISO, Kosher and Halal certifications covering the portfolio. Every batch is tested, documented and traceable before it leaves the warehouse.

From analytical bench to GMP workshop, quality is built in at every step. Our Xi’an facility combines an in-house application laboratory with stainless-steel synthesis, blending and clean-room packing lines, so every WS-series batch is tested, documented and traceable before it ships.
Four stages carry each batch from raw material to sealed package:
Analytical QC
Incoming raw materials and finished batches pass HPLC / GC identity, purity and residual-solvent testing before release.
Synthesis & Blending
Stainless-steel reactors and blending tanks produce each WS grade to its target purity, color and crystal form.
Spray-Drying & Crystallization
Particle size and crystal habit are controlled to match the dissolution profile your application needs.
GMP Clean-Room Packing
Food-grade clean rooms and inert-gas packing protect hygroscopic powders and lock in COA-verified quality.
