Dementholized Mint Oil (Cornmint) – Cost-Effective Mint Depth
CAS: 68917-18-0
The workhorse mint oil after menthol removal – herbaceous depth at economical cost.
Product Overview
Dementholized mint oil (cornmint oil) is produced from Mentha arvensis after most of the natural menthol has been crystallized out. What remains is a strongly herbaceous, camphoraceous-minty oil rich in menthone and menthyl acetate – prized as an economical flavor base that adds authentic mint depth without the cost of double-distilled peppermint. It is also the classic blending partner for WS-3: combining the two significantly boosts the fragrance signature while the amide carries the physical cooling.
